Sciatis nos de gracia nostra speeiali concessisse et hac presenti carta nostra confirmasse dileotis burgensibus nostris ville nostre de Lantrissen quod ipsi et eorum successores libcri sint per totum dominium nostrum tam in Anglia quam in Wallia, et easdem libertates habeant sicut habere solebant tempore antecessorum nostrorum, et sicut burgenses nostri de Kerdyff liabent ex concessione nostra, ita quod ipsi liberi sint cum marchandisis iu dominio nostro predicto et alibi, ac eciam quod de omnibus bonis et rebus suis tam videlicet mer- chandisis quam aliis quieti et liberi sint imperpetuum de theolonio muragio pontagio pavagio picagio et kayagio, nec lion de omnibus aliis custumis et consuetudinibus infra dominium nostrum predictum.

Hugh Despenser's land in South Wales were extensive so this charter, based on a similar one for Cardiff would have produced a large 'free trade' zone.
