free tenants of the manor of King's Cliffe, Northants (Clyve) was granted an exemption from murage dated 12/2/1595.

Wording
1037 12 Feb 1595. Exemption, for the free tenants of the manor of Clyve, Northants, (being of ancient demense of the crown), from contribution towards expenses of the knights of the shire and other dues as pannage, murage, pontage and passage; according to custom immemorial in such cases. {mm. 29-30}
