Grant to the mayor, burgesses and commonalty of the town of Norhampton, in lieu of a grant to them of 40l. yearly for six years from the fee-farm of the town of Kyngesthorpe, co. Northampton, by letters patent dated 4, July, 1 Henry IV (see Vol. I, p. 322), surrendered because the said fee-farm has been granted to the king's consort the queen in dower, of 40 marks yearly from Michaelmas last from the fee-farm of the town of Norhampton until they shall be satisfied of the arrears of the first annuity from Easter last and what still remains to be paid from it.
