To the sheriff of Kent. Contrabreve to let Walter Daniel, Richard le Clerk, William Cake and Walter le Coliere have 25l. 5s. 5d., out of the issues of the country, due to them for timber lately taken for the works of Rochester bridge and the town gates, and to make breastworks (beretachias) round the town.
