Licence, for 100l. paid in the hanaper by Walter Bixton, Walter Niche John Pilly and Robert Brasier, bailiffs of Norwich, and the commonalty of that city, for the alienation in mortmain by Henry Lomynour, Nicholas Blakene and Thomas Spynk of three messuages, eighteen shops, forty-two stalls, and 54s. of rent in Norwich, held of the king in burgage, to the said bailiffs and commonalty for repairing the walls and turrets of the city, cleansing the dykes and supporting certain other charges arising within the city in relief of the poor and meaner men thereof, besides performing other works of piety every year.
