Grant for two years to the mayor, sheriff, aldermen and commonalty of Newcastle on Tyne, in aid of the repair of the town and the construction of a high tower on the walls, of 2d. from each chaldron of coals taken out of the port of the town by water.
Granted by Henry IV. (Regnal year 9). Granted at Glucester.
