No grants are known for the years 1312-74, except a 7 year grant for pavage (CPI 56), but this is the general pattern, only Dublin and Drogheda being the exceptions, (Thomas, A., 1992, The Walled Towns of Ireland Vol. 2 (Irish Academic Press) p. 128). The difficulties of the several rolls shows here - was there a particular issue with Irish government in the mid C14 that led to English enrollment?
