A murage and pavage charter is also recorded for 1524 (Gale 1834, 127). (Thomas)
In the year 1524, " Nicholas Bermingham, superior of the town of Kells, had a day assigned to appear before the court, as well to render an account to the king of the murage and pavage of the town aforesaid, as of the custom of the same town during the whole time for which he owed an account thereof to the king, and further to do and receive," &c. (Gale)
Not a murage grant, but a call for an account, despite the terms of the charter of 1467.
