Grant of money:- 'during pleasure' {1 year 4 months} of 100 marcs p.a. from customs of Plymouth and Fowey Starting 9/1/1484 running to 14/5/1485.

Grant, during pleasure, to the mayor and commonalty of the town and borough of Plmmouths of 100 marks yearly from the customs of the towns of Fowey and Plymmouths and the creeks pertaining to them for the construction of the walls of the town according to certain indentures. By p.s.

Grant to the mayor and commonalty of the town of Plymmouth, in lieu of a grant to then by letters patent dated 9 January, 1 Richard III, surrendered, of 100 marks yearly for 20 years from that date from the customs in the ports of Plymmouth and Fowey and ports and places adjacent, to be expended on the construction of the walls of the town by the supervision of the prior of Plympton.
