Drogheda in County Louth petitioned for a grant of murage in 9/4/1404.

Nature of request: The people of Drogheda in County Louth request that the king issue letters patent dated 1 April last granting them customs at rates specified in the attached schedule on various goods, in order to raise money for the building of walls and paving of their town. They are currently unable to do this due the size of their fee farm and the great poverty of the commons.
