Carmarthen (Kermerdyn) petitioned for a grant of murage in {1315-1326}.

Nature of request: The petitioners ask to have seven years of murage in Carmarthen in order to maintain the walls that have fallen into disrepair and no longer enclose the town.

Could be either the grant of 1315 or 1326. However a petition which clearly produced the 1315 grant exists (MP24). Some petitions are repeated but I suspect this is not so for this petition and I date this to 1326.
