Richmond (Richemond) was given a grant of murage dated 14/5/1400.

Grant to the bailiffs and good men of the town of Richemond of murage for three years, to be expended on the repair of the walls of the town by the supervision of the king's brother Ralph de Nevylle, earl of Westmoreland.

Granted by Henry IV. (Regnal year 1). Granted at Westminster.
