Grant to the bailiffs and men of Kilkenny, for 4 years from the feast of St. Peter ad vincula {Aug. 1} next ensuing, in aid of inclosing their vill, for improvement thereof, and the security of the men adjacent, of the following customs, namely:-
From each seam of wheat for sale, 1/2d.;
each horse, mare, ox and cow, 1/2d.;
each hide of horse, mare, ox, and cow, fresh, salt, or tanned, 1/4d.;
each cart carrying meat, salt or fresh, 11/2d.;
5 hogs, 1/2d.;
each salmon, fresh or salt, 1/4d.;
10 sheep, goats, or pigs, 1d.;
10 fleeces, 1d.;
each 100 skins of sheep or goats, 1/2d.;
each 100 skins of lambs, hares, rabbits, foxes, cats, and squirrels, 1/2d.;
each seam of cloths, 1/2d.;
each entire cloth, 1/2d.;
one hundred of linen cloth, canvas cloths of Ireland, Galewych, and worsted, 1d.;
each hogshead of wine and cinders, 11/2d.;
each seam of honey, 1d.;
each sack of wool, 4d.;
each truss of cloth brought by carts, 2d.;
each seam of cloth and other diverse and minute articles, 1/2d.;
each cartload of iron, 1d.;
each seam of iron, 1/2d.;
each cartload of lead 2d.;
each cartload of tan by the week, 1d.;
each quarter of woad, 2d.;
2,000 onions, 1/4d.;
8 sheaves of garlic, 1/4d.;
each 1,000 herrings, 1/4d.;
each seam of sea-fish, 1/2d.;
each 100 boards, 1/2d.;
each quarter of salt, 1/4d.;
each wey of cheese and butter, 1/2d.;
each cartload of firewood or coals, 1/2d. by the week;
each 1,000 nails, 1/4d.;
each 100 horse-shoes and tires {cluti} for carts, 1/2d.;
each quarter of tan, 1/4d.;
each truss of any kind of wares exceeding the value of 2s., 1/4d.
each 100 gads {gaddi} of steel, 1/2d.;
each 1 cwt, de Aberdon', 1d.;
each 1 cwt. of stockfish, 1/2d.;
10 stone of canvas, 1/4d.;
10 flaggons of oil, 1/2d.;
and each millstone, 1/2d.
Mandate that the custom aforesaid may be taken for 4 years from the feast of St. Peter 'ad vincula next ensuing, and that on completion of this term it shall cease. Berwick-upon-Tweed. {Pat., 19 Edw. I., m. 11.}

The grant of 1266 for 3 years (CDI II 796), made again at the request of the lord, the Earl of Gloucester, is the first of a long series which became almost continuous from the late 14th century (CDI I 1913, 2136; II 913; V 239; CPI 62, 70, 79, 89; MCI 533) (Thomas)
Clearly based on the previous grant to Trim but with many omissions and then a series of additions (including some of the previous omitted items i.e millstones) - rates generally unchanged.
