This was in the form of:-
Assignment of power to collect surtax with power of forfeiture for 7 years 2 months {5 years} Starting 1/6/1309 running to 10/7/1314.

1 Jun. 1309 Dublin
To Geoffrey Moretone, citizen and merchant of Dublin.
GRANT to him of murage of the city of Dublin until 20 July 1309 and for seven years from that date, for the repair of the tower of the bridge at Dublin which was accidentally burned and repair of the wall adjoining the tower, which was knocked down. He is to collect the specified customs with power of forfeiture.

ORDER to supersede until demanding an account from Geoffrey Moreton of the murage of the city of Dublin granted to him by the king.
