Ireland. The citizens of Dublin give the king a moiety of the debt that Meiler fitz Henry owed them and the other moiety for the fortification of the city of Dublin. Order to G. Marsh, justiciar of Ireland, to distrain M. to render this debt, as etc., and to take security from the men of Dublin from the first monies of this moiety to the kings use. Witness etc.
