De muragio Glouc'.Quia rex accepit quod patria Glouc' ultra modum gravatur et dampnificatur occasione muragii, quod rex ballivis et probis hominibus Glouc' jam per plures annos preteritos concessit ad villam suam claudendam et emendacionem murorum ejusdem ville; et quod muragium illud nondum regi aut dicte ville cessit in commodum aut utilitatem; rex providit de consilio suo quod muragium dicte ville, quod rex predictis hominibus de novo concessit, suspendatur, ita quod nichil inde a quoquam percipiatur quousque rex sciverit in quos usus dictum muragium de tempore preterito sit deventum, et rex aliud inde providerit. Et mandatum est predictis hominibus ne occasione muragii quod rex predictis hominibus concessit aliquid de victualibus, mercandisis, vel aliis rebus venientibus in villam suam ab aliquo capiant aut aliquid ad hoc colligant donec a rege aliud receperint in mandatis. Murage suspended whilst need investigated. This must relate to the grant of 14th May but it is not stated who questioned the need or for what reason, beyond it not being to the benefit of the king.
