This sort of 'tourist' text written by a keen amateur never have the authority and value of book written by an academic who subjects themselves to regular peer review. However, this book is good of it's sort, it seems well researched, although using old sources, and is a reasonable read although the illustrations are poor. Why did the author choose to use the same title as that used by Emily Edwards for her small and poor book of 1909?
